On Wednesday, Glasgow Solidarity Network met in Dennistoun. The campaign against Queens Cross Housing Association’s rent hikes (supported by the Network) may not have produced what residents wanted – the Association put up the rents despite acknowledging its tenants’ resistance – but got some residents to carry on with solidarity campaigns beyond the struggle against Queens Cross Housing Association. Should more people be interested in joining Glasgow Solidarity Network, get in touch and we’ll be happy to introduce you to the ideas behind the Network and then to welcome you at our next meeting.
Glasgow Solidarity Network
Deposit withheld? Illegal agency fees? Wages stolen? Repairs outstanding?
We are a volunteer group who will support your struggle to win back a deposit, wages, repairs, agency fees, or tackling bosses and landlords by use of collective direct action.
See the About section for more on how we go about this, or Contact Us if you would like to become part of the network or have a boss or landlord problem you need support to face.
Alone we may be weak - organised we can win!
